Improve accessibility to ADHD assessments, especially for women.

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Improve funding within NHS mental health teams for ADHD. It is exceptionally difficult to get an assessment for ADHD even if you show clear signs of this condition. A lot of people, but mainly women are being undiagnosed or misdiagnosed due to a lack of accessibility to their local ADHD clinics.
It will improve people's quality of life. Most go their whole lives not being diagnosed or being misdiagnosed and being treated incorrectly for conditions they do not have. This has serious repercussions and people do not get the support they actually need to live better lives.
