Petition · past parliament

Pass a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I want the Prime Minister to resign or Parliament to pass a motion of no confidence in him to force him to do so,
The Prime Minister has a unique responsibility for the misleading statements made during the EU referendum and during the last election and subsequently, and has proved wholly incompetent as a leader during the Covid pandemic, causing the avoidable loss of lives and livelihoods; between the two, he has wrought the most enormous damage to the UK socially, culturally, environmentally, economically and as a presence on the world stage able to raise standards for all.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.
