Ban the sale of foxhounds

What the petition asks
The Government should make it illegal for foxhounds to be bred for commercial profit.
Animal charities have reported that foxhounds are used in the illegal killing of wild British foxes by organised hunting clubs. These dogs are often bred on a large scale and kept in kennels rather than as pets in the home. They are then often trained to seek out foxes in packs and work together to kill them. The death of a fox in this way is slow, painful and terrifying. Some of the foxes may be vixens with dependent cubs.
If trained foxhounds were no longer available to be used in legal trail hunts in this manner, the lives of many foxes could be spared.
