Prioritise school staff for the Covid vaccine before reopening schools.

What the petition asks
Give school staff priority for recieving the vaccine to protect them from the virus and enable them to do their job and remain safe in schools.
We believe that children's education should take priority at all times. The Covid pandemic has meant that schools have had to adapt the way that they deliver and facilitate learning.
To ensure that all school staff can do their jobs, to the best of their ability, we believe that providing them with access to the vaccine will enable schools to remain open to the majority of children.

Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Prioritise teachers, school and childcare staff for Covid-19 vaccination
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to keep schools closed until teachers have been offered a vaccination, if that is what you want to happen.
