Fine people not attending Covid vaccination appointments without good reason

What the petition asks
Make it law that if an appointment is made to have a Covid vaccination, and the appointment is not attended without a reasonable excuse, a fine is issued if not cancelled. This is to deter individuals from booking a vaccination if they don’t intend to have it, thus avoiding wasting doses.
There have been instances of people not turning up to vaccination appointments. As vaccines become unusable after a short period of time, this is a waste of valuable vaccination doses that could be given to other people, optimising the vaccination programme and saving more lives.
