What the petition asks

Shut all the schools to keep all our children and the population safe , also to keep the transmission of the virus down.

No one knows how many people each child/teacher would of came in contact with over the Christmas period , there could be a lot of asymptomatic children/adults that could spread it very rapidly , we all know the virus and the new varient of the virus is starting to get out of control , hence the tighter restrictions and this new tier system.
Shut all schools In the uk for the first 2 weeks of January and bring in tougher measures to give everyone time to isolate and cut the transmission down
