Provide grants to newly self employed people

What the petition asks
Help support newly self employed people. So far there has been Zero help for people that become self employed from 6 April 2019 - 5 April 2020 in the UK. This means that these people who have been unable to work have not received a penny from the government. Almost like they’ve been forgotten about.
To equally support the public. People who have ventured into becoming newly self employed have been forgotten about during this pandemic. This has caused millions of people to struggle with their lives. The government have supported businesses and older self employed members, but nothing for those that are newly self employed.
Again the newly self employed have not received a penny. Many business have taken advantage of furlough or business grants that have been offered.
