What the petition asks
Consider keeping gyms open no matter what restrictions are in place in order to help better the health and mental health of the nation, help lower suicide rates and hospital admissions of issues caused but obesity and inactivity.
We the people of the nation for the most part that closing gyms a place of health and self improvement during a health crisis is ludicrous. The data shows transmission rates in gyms are low, gyms already have a test and trace system in place, covid has a worse effect on obese people, resistance training can’t be mimicked effectively outside of a gym and is important for preventing many health issues, gyms have immense mental health benefits the separation from the home environment is important.
