A debate to put Nigel Farage forward for a knighthood

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Nigel has been fighting for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union for 30 years, he has been abused and ostracised by the establishment for fighting for the majority of the people and deserves the highest honour of the land.
Also a coin must be released with his head on it.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

The Government will only accept individual nominations, not petitions, so we can’t publish your petition.

Decisions about decoration of coins and bank notes are a matter for the Bank of England, not the Government or House of Commons.
