Road safety on Cateswel Road B11 3DZ

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Racetrack heaven
A straight line with a 30mph limit but cars can easily exceed 100mph.A busy road with buses,HGVs,motorbikes & cars.
Residential St with shops, pubs & schools either end&MANY children & elderly walkers. We will not accept that someone needs to be injured or die before you take action
We are requesting cameras, speed humps/bumps,rumble strips,ANPR or grass verge parking to name a few solutions.

I have clocked on a regular occurrence vehicles going in excess of 100mph,reported this to the police & local authority but neither will act.
In the space of 12 weeks there have been 3 accidents,2 of which have been total loss insurance claims involving 5 cars.

We have lived here for 35 years and the road is getting worse. This is a fatal accident waiting to happen.
