What the petition asks
With the drastic increase in COVID cases it is imperative we do all we can to protect people. With the in mind, it is crucial that the government passes legislation that requires primary ages children to wear masks to school to minimise the spread of COVID.
Teachers are at a high risk by going into schools. Many children’s parents work on COVID wards in hospitals and pose the risk of spreading the virus. To help protect the nations teachers all children in primary schools should be required to wear masks as secondary school aged children are required currently.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
