Have universities refund students for missing accomodation weeks

I am a university student who is finding it hard to live off student finance during covid as jobs are harder to find. Now with students who aren't in medical courses being advised not to return to campuses until late January we're still having to pay for those weeks we are missing, the reimbursement of those few weeks of rent would really benefit a majority of students
