What the petition asks
Please close schools or not fine parents for not sending their children to school if a member of the family is shielding or they feel it’s unsafe to send there children to school.
As a disabled mum of two who is shielding I’ve made the hard choice to not send my daughter to school due to me shielding but fear I may receive a fine. I feel this is very unfair as I’m trying to protect myself and my family.
Please either close schools or not fine parents for not sending their children to school if a member of the family is shielding or they feel it’s unsafe to send there children to school.
