Change furlough cut off date to allow new employees to be furloughed
Rejected

What the petition asks
The current cut off to receive furlough is 31st October 2020, all people who have started a new job and cannot be furloughed by their new employer. Unfortunately although pervious employers can furlough ex employees many are refusing to do so which is leaving many people in very difficult situations
I want the government to change the furlough cut off date so anybody who started a new job in November or December can get furloughed with their current employer.
