Shut nurseries during COVID-19

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

Nurseries are currently not safe with this new strain which is aimed at children, the staff done wear PPE and get coughed over, sneezed upon and snot wiped over them daily. The toys are shared with the children who put it in mouths; there is only so much cleaning possible in one day.
During this current pandemic working in nursery isn’t safe, the children are sharing all toys throughout the day, putting them in their mouths and chucking on it the floor, working in a nursery none of the current rules are implemented as you cannot social distance with children, we take the children from their families cuddling them as they cry and cough over us, nursery staff need to be thought about during this pandemic as much as teachers are at primary school and secondary schools.
