Give private candidates the opportunity to sit A-levels/ GCSE exams in summer

What the petition asks
Anyone who wishes should be allowed to sit the exams in Summer 2021, mirroring the Autumn 2020 exams.
It is unfair for external candidates to not be able to sit the exams in the summer as most intended to improve their grades from last year in this year’s exam cycle. Many have felt that they have wasted a year as they either will have to go to a university they weren’t hoping for or wait until 2022.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
