End extreme government activity in COVID-19

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

At what point in time did the government take control over how we live our daily lives. COVID-19 is a threat to health but why does that require government involvement? The embarrassing attempts to slow COVID via national lockdowns show that it does not work and what happened to free will?
No-one is forcing people to leave their house. At what point did it become the PM's decision how much care I take about catching a disease. The argument of saving lives is flawed given the increase in mental health issues, death from other diseases and the impact on the economy. The people no longer agree with these extreme measures. Do not force this upon everyone for the sake of a few who will still have the freedom to do as they wish.
