What the petition asks
Give A level students some relief of stress and give them the time to plan their next steps in their lives.
The cancellation of end of year exams has taken a toll on a lot of students mental health, many are worried that their predicted grades won’t be enough to progress to the course they desire. This is not the first time my exams have been cancelled, my first A level was cancelled in 2020 which caused me to endure a lot of unnecessary stress from worrying about what grade I would be given by teachers for my 7 months worth of work. Give the students of 2021 the key to their futures!
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Universities are already allowed to give unconditional offers, as long as this offer is not conditional on the applicant only choosing that institution. You can read more about this here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
