Allow gyms to re-open in the first phase after the national lockdown

What the petition asks
Allow gyms and leisure centres to re-open in the first phase of re-opening the country after the national lockdown, with the data proving they are safe and Covid secure, this is paramount of people’s physical and mental health, especially during the poor weather periods.
Simply asking for the government to follow the data, which suggests gyms are safe. They are essential to physical and mental health for many, especially those unable to workout at home, lacking equipment and guidance, and during the colder/wetter weather it’s harder and more dangerous for people to train outside. Gyms provide a safe, supportive, motivating, hygienic, specialist area for everybody to workout.
