What the petition asks

To help kickstart the much maligned hospitality industry and have a right royal sigh of relief and knees up once all this is over. We would like the UK govt to put £220m behind the bars of the UK to buy the first round for every adult in the country. (54.8m x £4.00).

We’ve gone through a lot, I’m sure you’ll agree. Hospitality is one of the hardest hit areas. Let’s kickstart the industry and have a right royal knees up at the same time, with a pint or soft drink for every adult in the UK.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The UK Government are not responsible for organising "staff dos". You could start a new petition calling for specific support for hospitality such as a "drink out to help out scheme", if that's something you'd like to see.
