Ensure funding for Early Years continues to be paid, to prevent closures.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Some local authorities are withholding funding from childminders, preschools and nurseries, if parents choose not to send their children.
This means that the already underfunded early years sector could be in the brink of collapse.
To ensure that funding continues to be paid to early years providers, especially those who rely on it to pay for staff and premises, regardless of attendance from children.
