Call for Consideration for Home-Educated GCSE & A-Level Candidates

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

I call upon the government to consider its duty towards home-educated students, especially those of lesser means, to ensure they have a fair chance at obtaining places at university/college despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
Many homeschooled students face missing out on university and college places for a second consecutive year due to the cancellation of exams due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Many students do not have the means to obtain teacher assessed grades and forgo essential opportunities as a consequence.

The government has a duty to avoid marginalising this cohort of students by failing to consider them in the the Covid-19 exam adjustments.
