What the petition asks
BBC have recently announce a schedule of Children's education programmes during lockdown, for those children who may not have access to educational material elsewhere.
However, this would still exclude those who can't afford a TV licence. Therefore it is paramount to suspend enforcement for now

I have contacted the BBC who say the by law it is only the government who could enact this policy.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
It's not clear whether you want enforcement action against people who haven't paid for a TV licence to be prevented, or for the requirement to have a TV licence be suspended.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
