Cancel Pre-U exams in the UK for 2021

What the petition asks
As A-level exams are already cancelled, why not cancel the rest as it isn’t fair. Cancel Pre-U exams and give everyones mental health a rest.
Current Year 13’s has had majority of their A-level year at home in their rooms. Our mental health is at stake now. The relief we all had when we heard our exams are cancelled was felt throughout England, but now we’re told that’s not true. I can speak for a fact that us, year 13’s, can’t take it anymore.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions about courses and assessments that are delivered by independent educational institutions, as opposed to state schools, are a matter for indiviudal exam boards and educational institutions, not the Government or House of Commons.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to work with independent exam providers to review arrangements for examinations that take place during the Covid-19 outbreak, if that is something you want to happen.
