Hold a vote of no confidence in Boris Johnson and his government.

What the petition asks
This government has continually acted too late to stop the spread of covid-19. We have the worst case numbers in Europe and the NHS is under sustained pressure after years of underfunding. Closing schools after 1 day was the final straw for parents and teachers. Something must change now.
2,836,805 confirmed cases of covid in the UK today (WHO data: https://covid19.who.int)
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.
If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could sign or start a petition about that.
