Ensure pedophiles and crimes against children are dealt harsher sentences

What the petition asks
I would like the government to ensure that crimes against children are met with more harsher sentences. Time and time again we see pedophiles sentenced to a very low custodial sentence, or get off, or get community service! These crimes against children are up there with the worst crimes ever.
Why it was rejected
