Demand Secretary of State makes a U-turn to call-in West Cumbria coal mine.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We want Robert Jenrick to make a U-turn on his decision to decline the call-in of the first UK deep coal mine in 30 years... So it can be discussed and decided on, on a national level as climate change goes beyond borders and counties.
Last week, the secretary of state, Robert Jenrick declined to call in the decision made by local councilors to give a green light to the first UK deep coal mine in 30 years… whilst demonstrations and 86,000 signatures on petitions telling him to do otherwise.

We want this decision to be changed and for the coal mine to go through Parliamentary review.
