What the petition asks

If the Government make Emergency, Urgent or other exceptions to this rule it removes the pressure on the growers to plan for developing alternative, sustainable approaches to protect crops without the use of neonicotinoid seed treatments. Help them with this work instead of just lifting the ban.

The natural world is under threat. Every bird that dies from contaminated seed, every bee that fails to thrive because of contaminated pollen, is something we simply cannot afford to lose. The Government made a great decision to ban neonicotinoid seed treatments. Please stick to it.
