Update the key worker list, to limit children in schools

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Update the key worker list so that we have less pupils in schools, ensuring teaching staff stay safe and the virus doesn’t spread as easily.

This would not effect vulnerable children who need to be at school.
Because there are still to many children in schools, the key worker list is too long, we need less pupils in schools to limit the spread and keep our teachers and families safe.
Less pupils in school would also mean remote learning could be facilitated properly.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you want the Government to reduce the number of children entitled to attend school, but it's not clear exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Your petition implies entitlements based on key worker status should be restricted, but it is not clear which roles you want to be removed from the current list.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
