What the petition asks
Give key workers a £1000 thank you for keeping the country going during the pandemic.
I am a refuse collector, my wife is a NHS HCA, our eldest son works in the food supply industry, eldest daughter teacher, second son works in a covid testing center, we have all been working since the start of the pandemic along with all the other key workers.
Looking at the way people are not staying at home (I'm guessing most of them are furloughed as key workers are too tired) they are getting money for nothing, how about some for the key workers?

Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
