To remove all unnecessary training by the NHS for Covid vaccinators
Rejected
14 signatures
What the petition asks
To remove the excessive training and allow all practitioners with previous experience of injection skills to come forward speedily .
Because it will save lives and take the pressure off the NHS and stop the hospital staff being overwhelmed and get the economy back to normal.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The training recommendations for Covid-19 vaccinators are set by Public Health England, and the application process for joining the NHS Covid-19 vaccinaton team is managed by the NHS. Both Public Health England and the NHS are operationally independent of the Government, and decisions about this guidance and recruitment are matters for them, not the Government or House of Commons.
