What the petition asks
Change the law. Recognise the pagan communities handfastenings in England and Wales.
Give pagans in England and Wales the same rights. By allowing the law to stay the same the pagan community is being religiously discriminated against and in 2021 a time where equality is important. Issues like this shouldn't need a petition to change the law.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Grant English and Welsh Pagans the same marriage rights as Scottish Pagans
