Produce a national award for front line health workers.

What the petition asks
Give recognition to the front line NHS staff fighting Covid 19 by designing and awarding a medal/coin in silver to commemorate this historic event and help make them feel valued in this time of need as you would in a military conflict
The impact on Covid 19 NHS workers is well recognised, and despite the escalating workload, these workers will be expected to immediately post Covid 19 resume normal work expectations of the NHS to meet, quality and standards. Some kind of recognition may help this transition to help them feel valued and support their mental health.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: NHS staff should be awarded a service medal for working through covid-19.
