Reduce or eliminate taxes for essential workers during the pandemic.

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Learn from the lessons of our forefathers and reevaluate the tax conditions for workers during the Covid-19 pandemic to like those of post World War 2 Britain.
It's time to start recognising the beneficial impact that workers have on society rather than the economy! Essential workers are currently the life blood of this country. Working more days, longer hours, with increasing levels of stress to keep this country running. Not because we want to, but because we have a duty to!

Unfortunately, minimum wage, essential careers are being taxed heavily for extra work that can not afford to not be done, while some have the choice to sit at home on full pay.
