Compulsory to display country of manufacture on all goods at point of sale

There appears to be a growing interest in the UK population to support UK manufacturing, industry and businesses and it is currently very difficult to determine (particularly when shopping online) the country of manufacture/origin of goods and services. It should be made a compulsory and legal requirement to declare this information at the point of sale. This will provide UK consumers with the opportunity to make a more informed decision of choice.
