Ban/make illegal the scalping of items using bots and reselling above RRP

What the petition asks
Ban/make it illegal for people to use automatic bots to buy up stock of newly released products and then resell it off at a later date for a higher price taking advantage of desperate consumers,
Recently with the release of the next generation gaming consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X, which already cost £450, people are taking advantage of the limited supply and high demand due to covid and reselling the off at much higher prices which limits the amount of people able to get one. And due to the limited supply already and scalpers taking the majority of stock, parents were unable to get them as gifts for christmas leading to unhappy children on christmas.
