Stop the sale of pets on online market place

What the petition asks

Ban the sale of pets on sites like Gumtree, Free ads, Pets4Homes, Facebook, Ebay..
The selling of animals on these sites is facilitating the sale of stolen pets, puppy farms and unlicensed breeders. This is not only about the health and well being of the animals concerned, but the fraudulent and criminal activity of the sellers.
It needs to stop

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Government is not responsible for the mediums individuals or businesses use to sell their wares, including pets, but we have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
