Provide free decent and reliable broadband facilities to all low-income homes.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We, the undersigned, demand the immediate provision of free broadband access to all low income households, and that work on building nationwide physical access to broadband begins. (i.e. the infrastructure is put in place, overcoming all obstacles).
To address the lack of accessible & reliable broadband services for those currently excluded,we must focus on two areas: affordability & infrastructure.
Three simple truths are:
1. Covid has provided us with the awareness of how essential decent broadband is,we mustn’t let this go ignored.
2. Poverty and low-income should not be a barrier to education, social awareness/activity,or one’s ability to contribute to society.
3. In this digital age, reliable internet access is a necessity not a luxury.
