Apply for the UK to join the EFTA

What the petition asks
The UK should try and join the European Free Trade Association. This is so we qualify to be a member of the European Economic Area, permitting us to trade much more freely with Europe.
The Northern Ireland Protocol has effectively placed a border between Great Britain and Northern Ireland. By the UK joining the EFTA as a whole, we will be able to trade freely both internally and with other members of the EEA, protecting our Union and British businesses.
