What the petition asks
To make it illegal for employers to spy on their employees & to not infringe on their privacy & not take advantage of the current working environment (working from home) & instead use other methods to obtain critical feedback on employees like, quarterly KPIs & feedback sessions with line managers.
As history has proven many times when a crisis that affects societies like in this current situation (COVID-19) companies can take advantage of theses situation to put more pressure on their employees and before we know it infringes on their privacy and makes these practices a company standard in an employees contact which will pave the way for further "surveillance" issues put on employees by employers
