What the petition asks
I want the Government to create a law that insists that every employee within the Public or Private sectors should be offered permanant home-working if their role can be carried out effectively in such a way.
The covid-19 situation has proven that home-working can and does work.
People are less stressed from not having to commute to and from their workplace to do a job that they can do competently from home.
My Civil Service dept. has said that employees can go into the office if it benefits their mental health but surely it can work the other way too in that if home-working can benefit someones mental health then they should be allowed that opportunity also, even permanently.
