What the petition asks
2020 graduates had a major effect on their careers because of the COVID-19 induced pandemic. Out of them, most suffered have been the international students since they not only ended up paying higher fees but also lost out on essential career networking opportunities.
These are the same international students who have also contributed as key workers in such an unprecedented time of crisis.
The only request is to understand the massive struggle and the crushed expectations of the incidental victims of this pandemic. Please extend the two years post-study work permit to 2020 graduates, so that they get a fair shot at creating sufficient opportunities of work for themselves and can strive towards a better future.
This change can change many lives!
