Fines for public spitting in all of the U.K.

What the petition asks

Issue heavy fines for spitting in public areas. In particular, walkways, shopping areas, children related areas and shared spaces.
Spitting is an act of choice and where it takes places needs to be reviewed. With Covid-19 now in our environment, it is really important that the act of spitting is controlled publicly all over the U.K. with consequences for those that do not wish to conform.

Why it was rejected
