Let parents have the choice to buy logo or supermarket school uniform

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like for parliament and government to look into school uniform, school uniform costs a fortune , to parents in a low income family uniform is extra stress due to the cost , as parents we would like the options of buying supermarket uniform not been forced to buy the schools logo uniform .
Poverty is higher than ever with Covid , family's are more dependent on food banks and food parcels to feed their children , children have not had much time in schools due to the virus spreading, but yet we still have to go and and spend a fortune on logo uniform , this puts extra strain and stress on low income family’s, Iam asking as a mother of 3 children who all attend school if parents could have the option of buying school uniform from supermarkets and parents not been penalised for it .
