What the petition asks
To set March 23rd as an annual National COVID Memorial Day to commemorate the thousands of people that have been lost to the virus and the impact it has had on families and communities
COVID has affected so many families and communities with over 100,000 people lost by January 2021. Every one of them loved and missed.
Personal remembrance services were restricted making grieving more difficult
It is important that the loved ones are remembered, and that families and communities can share their experiences together that's why we should have a Annual Covid Memorial Day on the anniversary of the date of the first lockdown March 23rd when the nation remembers those we have lost
