Start a national campaign to highlight the suicide rate in men under 50

What the petition asks
The rate of suicide in men under the age of 50, which is the single largest cause of death, is a national tragedy. We need a national campaign to highlight this issue, to encourage the nation to take away the taboo that stops men talking and to educate men on mental health.
These men are Dads, Uncles, Fathers for so many people and their loss will have massive implications for so many lives. These men are also contributors to the nation as a whole, their loss will be felt economically and socially throughout their communities. And as a caring nation we should never let such a huge issue remain undisclosed.
