What the petition asks
I would like for the government to review the situation on exams , and the idea that replacing one set of exams with another set (which is actually more stressful for students who will have no idea what to expect) in these unprecedented times. The government should look to have faith in teachers
Many students have faced disruption over the past year in various degrees. When the idea that the original set of exams were to be scrapped, it was not thought to be replaced by a DIFFERENT set of exams. Many students, parents and teachers believe there should be a stronger support and trust for teacher assessments in the 2021 exams and that externally set exams is not the solution to this problem.
