Cap the landfill in Silverdale. Newcastle-under -Lyme

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We want drastic action on the landfill we are dealing with in Newcastle under Lyme from the landfill owned by red industries.
It is making our live hell. Smells daily are 7 on the scale people are worried it messing with there health. We can’t open windows, it’s such a eye sore for many many people. And nothing is been done

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about local waste management, and taking action in relation to private landfills, is a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
