What the petition asks
Social Media companies & the Government should do more to combat hate & racial abuse. There needs to be policies in place which make social media companies more accountable. Policies also need to be put in place to give authorities more power to catch and prosecute these individuals.
The number of hate and racial abuse online is increasing. Just look at how many black football players have been abused. This is despite the Black Lives Matter awareness. People need to understand they cannot get away with hate or racial abuse online. Policies need to be put in place so that these individuals can be easily prosecuted.
