Mark January 31 each year as Independence Day

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We call upon HM Government to mark January 31 each year as Independence Day in our calendar.
This was the day when we formally left the EU.
It should be a day of celebration and national pride.
Our national flag should be flown with pride across the land.
Torch light celebrations should be held at 11pm each year.
It is a day to rejoice and celebrate.
